Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, otherwise known as the Father of the Indian constitution wrote & published the 𝘈𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 in 1936. Champion of & a vociferous advocate of Human rights in general. In particular, he contributed a lot to the upliftment of backwards-class castes in India. Namely, the Dalit/Adivasi/minorities & women populace of the country. A people’s representative.  Also, one of the most well-read & intelligent minds across the globe.

Review Preface 

We begin the Book Review Annihilation of caste (जाति का विनाश), with a question if you have any disease, will you discuss that disease? Some of you will answer yes and some will not, but those who do not want to discuss, it will definitely discuss it with the Doctor, that means you will definitely discuss whether you do it at home or do it with friends or a doctor, but you will be surprised to know that 100% of the people of India, I am not telling the figures wrong, listen again, 100% people of India and NRI are suffering from a disease, a terrible disease which is existing from 1000 of year in India. The name of that disease is caste and this epidemic was created and spread by the Brahman religion.

Annihilation of caste ( AOC), a speech prepared by Babasaheb. A reminder, a memorandum written in order to destructed caste in its entirety. The literal annihilation of caste. For a better understanding, let me tell you that this speech was never delivered on the invited stage of Jat Pat Todak Mandal, Lahore.  Instead, it was published later on by Dr Ambedkar (Babasaheb). He was invited by the jatpat todak Mandal to preside over the post of President and address the Mandal.  But later on,  the Mandal postponed the program indefinitely. 

The program was postponed because the Mandal did not like what was prepared as an addressing speech by  Babasaheb Ambedkar. That was an explicit attack on the Vedas & Smritis. Babasaheb in his classic speech “talked about the destruction of Hinduism”. Gandhi made several allegations against Babasaheb in his Gujarati magazine Harijan. Gandhi mocked the price of the article published at some places. To which Babasaheb responded, in his second article. Babasaheb published this speech at least three times.

In the annihilation of caste, Babasaheb has not only discussed the subject of caste but has discussed all the topics related to the issue of caste in a meticulous manner. Babasaheb Ambedkar has written about social reform that “there are fewer friends in the social reform work in India.”  Critics are more met “He throws light on some incidents of caste persecution of that time”. He also throws light on some incidents of caste oppression of that time”.  Analyses the conflict between political reform and social reform, not only with its arguments on arguments given to justify the caste system but also from a scientific point of view. In his written speech he tries to shake the foundation of caste power. We learn & understand how economic downfall is caused by the caste system, talk about reforms in Hinduism, what kind of reforms should be done about it, take a tough stand on the caste system, give their opinion, how Hindu religious scriptures justify the caste system and talk about it. We understand how economic downfall is caused by the caste system. He talked about reforms in Hinduism, and what reforms are needed.  Takes a tough stand on the caste system, gives their opinion, on how Hindu religious scriptures justify the caste system and so on. He further writes that the socialist’s role in considering the fact of caste plague. Tells us about the intellectuals and says, “You will be sorry to know that the intelligentsia in India is another name for Brahmins”.

This book is essential for the treatment of that disease, which I talked about at the beginning of this review. Babasaheb Ambedkar has talked about it in this book. Many of you must have heard about this book, but some people only bothered to read it. It’s a mandatory read. So do get your hands on this book and read it. I believe that this book should be read by a person of every religion because there is a problem of caste in every religion. Friends, how important and revolutionary this book is, can be gauged from the fact that after reading this book, Kanshi Ram Sahab made social organizations like BAMCEF and DS4 and went ahead to create a political party like BAHUJAN SAMAAJ PARTY (BSP). One thing ties all the knots, no revolution can happen without reading.
